Did you know that the Adelie Penguin was the most musical penguin in the world? The Adelie Penguin is black only on the back. They have a long beak, back, and stomach. They are 27 inches tall, and they weigh 11 pounds.

The Adelie Penguin is a carnivore. They eat fish, krill, squid, and plankton. The female penguins have up to 5 eggs, and they take 2 days to hatch. And as soon as the little chicks have hatched, the mom and dad leave the chicks to hunt for food.

The Adelie Penguin's predators are leopard seals and skuas.
