about us

Hi. I'm Caitlin, and here are some facts about the Chinstrap Penguin.

The Chinstrap Penguin is the boldest penguin in the world! They are small, chubby, and strong. Chinstraps are 28 inches tall in height, and weigh 14 pounds.
The Chinstraps are carnivores. They eat fish and krill. Females have up to two eggs, and take 33 days to hatch. When the chicks are born, they are already learning their hunting skills. Wow that's pretty quick!
The Chinstrap's enemy is just the leopard seal.
