Hera

By: Inga

Hi, it's me, Inga, again! I will tell you about Hera! Hera is the goddess of women and marriage. Her mother was the Titan Rhea. Her father was the Titan Cronus. Her brothers are Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. To read more about them read some of Christine's articles. Her sisters are Demeter and Hestia. Her children are Ares, Eris, Hebe, Eileithyia, and Hephaestus. Hera hates Hercules.

Hera appears in the myth of Echo, a nymph. Echo has the job of distracting Hera while Zeus has an affair with another nymph. When Hera found out, she cursed Echo so that Echo could only repeat what others said. Poor Echo! Bye!
